Students enrolled in the college’s Respiratory Care Program are in the midst of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic as they continue their clinical course work at St. Peter’s Hospital and Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Department Chair Patty Hyland spoke March 30 (via FaceTime) with Emily DeFeciani, WRGB CBS 6 reporter, about the students’ current role at the hospitals, the great need for respiratory therapists, and why it’s so important for everyone to practice social distancing and stay home.
